DANTE TENNIS / DEVELOPMENT
Honest feedback, real encouragement, and a relationship where athletes can ask, question, struggle, and continue developing.
Players should enjoy their coach while still receiving honest, useful feedback. Coaches listen, explain clearly, adapt, and recognize progress that is real. Challenge increases with readiness and ambition—not through humiliation or punitive exercise. Technical instruction uses cues, exploration, repetition, observation, and appropriate challenge to help athletes discover effective movement without forcing every stroke to look identical.
When an athlete is struggling, we change the route: feed, speed, distance, angle, explanation, scoring, drill structure, or the competitive environment. The goal is understanding and problem solving. Pain, unusual fatigue, or significant distress means adjust or stop.
Dante Tennis coaches the person in front of us. Clear standards and honest feedback sit alongside patient explanation, athlete-centered problem solving, and challenge that responds to readiness. Coaching is not a script—it is an ongoing process of observing, adjusting, and helping athletes build understanding they can carry into their own decisions.
